How Counselling Works
There are several reasons why people decide to come to therapy, you may feel stuck, have experienced recent loss or change, want to gain understanding of certain behaviours or generally do not feel like you are living the life you want to.
Therapy provides a safe space to talk about anything you feel is causing you problems. Together we can explore the issue and work towards a greater level of self-awareness that will bring about change.
I work integratively which means I use different approaches and techniques based on how I feel things will work for you. This means therapy is personalised and tailored to your needs.
I offer weekly, 50 minute sessions. If you feel like you would like to work with me you can contact me via email and we will arrange an initial consultation to discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.
Following this, if you want to proceed, we would discuss how many sessions would be appropriate. I offer short-term work: a minimum of ten sessions, or open ended work.
